"...Three settlements along the Phoban Reach have been destroyed."

Beyond the arid and unforgiving Riddust Mountains, the terrain levels and mellows into the Phoban Reach. Reot's northeastern coast still lies beneath the scorching sun, warming the cliffs and rocks to a near-sizzling golden glow, yet the land here allows some concessions. It remains one of the premier locations for vineyards and orchards. The port-towns across the Phoban Reach remain quiet and select, for whilst their wares are much sought-after, many sailors are uneasy docking here, being that the Reach remains the closest point to Lungia and the dragons who dwell there. They may now keep to their own lands and the Dragon Rebellions are long past, but the memory of burning ships littering the Bernesan Sea, will take much longer to fade.
“Have you ever stopped to look at the massive portrait outside your room?”
Sam nodded, he saw the artistic battle between knights and flying, fire-breathing lizards every morning. Then he realised. “That’s real?” he gasped, having thought it was just a fantastical scene painted for effect.
“The Last Siege of Klawgras,” Grim said, “where the invading dragons were forced back to Lungia.”

A name shared by both the active volcano and the city that sits in its shadow. Having existed together for centuries, the city has learnt to withstand the volcano's occasional outbursts, with pyroducts channelling the lava away and magical barriers on standby to filter the ash. The interested traveller can find multiple monuments to mark those who lost their lives during the Dragon Rebellions, aptly placed as Klawgras was the first volcano taken in that time and the last to fall at the Rebellions' end.
Distastefully, a solitary Ingarrun temple remains atop the volcano, home to those scant few Ingarrun priests, who still pray their 'holy' dragon masters will return.
